La Reserva Fazenda: a Living Blue Zone in the making, in the heart of Brazil
Living Blue Zone International ASBL is proud to announce its support for La Reserva Fazenda Agricultura Regenerativa, an inspiring project led by Marie Stas and Hervé Wittmeur.
Located in the state of Piauí, Brazil, La Reserva Fazenda covers 22 hectares, including 14 hectares of protected native forest.
Through permaculture, agroecology, and regenerative farming, it redefines harmony between nature and culture, fully embodying the core values of the Living Blue Zone: health, connection, sustainability, and purpose.
In August 2025, Dominique Honhon, co-founder of Living Blue Zone, traveled to Brazil to meet Marie and Hervé and discover their various initiatives: the La Cozinha hotel in Barra Grande, the Ello restaurant in Jericoacoara, and La Reserva Fazenda itself.
This visit offered a concrete glimpse into their commitment — a way of living rooted in nature, community, and the simple joy of being connected to life.
