Some collaborations seem almost natural.

For many years, Florencia Zampieri has explored, through art, neuroarchitecture and environmental well-being research, a question that also lies at the heart of the Living Blue Zone approach: how do the environments in which we live influence the way we feel, behave and thrive?

Based in Argentina, Florencia is a visual artist, neuroarchitect, researcher and founder of The Blue Maker. Her work is driven by a deep fascination with the color blue, which she sees not simply as a color, but as an experience capable of influencing our emotions, creativity, sense of calm and connection with the world around us.

As she writes herself:
Blue ceases to be a color and becomes a state of being.

Long before her connection with Living Blue Zone, Florencia was already exploring the relationships between spaces, emotions, movement, water, well-being and quality of life. Through her Blue Mind Lifestyle approach, she investigates how environments shape our brains, our behaviors and our inner balance.

Discovering Professor Michel Poulain’s work on the Blue Zones revealed a natural resonance with her own research. Although their approaches are different—one grounded in science, the other in art and sensory experience—they converge around common themes: the importance of environment, social connection, natural movement, purpose in life, connection with nature and sustainable well-being.

Inspired by the seven Living Blue Zone principles, Florencia has created a series of original artworks that offer a sensitive, poetic and deeply human interpretation of these ideas. Her work provides another pathway into the Living Blue Zone philosophy—through emotion, imagination and lived experience.

Today, we are delighted to welcome Florencia Zampieri as Living Blue Zone Ambassador for Arts and Culture in Latin America.
Her appointment also strengthens Living Blue Zone’s presence in Argentina and further expands the network already developing in Chile, Brazil and Mexico.

Through her artistic vision, commitment and creativity, Florencia will help build new bridges between art, culture, science and well-being, in support of a shared vision: creating environments that make it easier for people to live healthier, more meaningful, active and fulfilling lives.
