Longévitalité joins Living Blue Zone as a Sister Association in Quebec
Living Blue Zone International is pleased to announce a new collaboration in Quebec with Longévitalité, which is officially joining our international community as a Living Blue Zone Sister Association.
Based in Eastman, Quebec, Longévitalité develops concrete initiatives that promote well-being, healthy living, social connection and community participation. Their approach is deeply aligned with the Living Blue Zone philosophy: creating environments that naturally make healthy, meaningful and vibrant lifestyles easier.
What connects us most is a shared vision: the belief that health does not rely solely on medical care or individual effort, but also on the quality of human relationships, a strong sense of belonging, and environments that naturally support healthier ways of living.
In Eastman, Longévitalité is already developing inspiring community initiatives, including:
- a community walking club promoting natural movement and social connection;
- initiatives around food and healthier choices;
- a participatory passport encouraging social engagement
- the creation of a Smile Day, in collaboration with the municipality;
- citizen-led initiatives supporting healthier living together.
What particularly resonates with us in this collaboration is the very concrete willingness to bring these principles into everyday life by creating physical, social and community environments that naturally foster well-being, connection and vitality.
At Living Blue Zone, we deeply believe that the lifestyle patterns observed in Blue Zones can inspire meaningful action everywhere in the world — when rooted in engaged, human and thriving communities.
